Hi! My name is Nilmi and I’m a freelance hairstylist specializing in Events | Balayage | Curly hair Cut • colour • style I’m currently working freelance using HotPatch and I pop up at Chop Chop London a few days a week. I am currently residing in Kings Cross. I am Certified and Insured (Salon Gold | VTCT | NVQ L2) from the LhaAcademy. My parents are of Sri Lankan origin and I always ask myself why they left the beach 🌊for the snow ❄️😂 In 2018, I moved to London, UK after spending over 5 years in West Africa building a tech company. I started hairstyling because I wanted a creative outlet outside of my day to day work. I heard that you never stop learning in hairdressing. This really piqued my interest 🙏🏽 Outside of the salon I’m a competitive Muay Thai boxer (watch out!) and I work in business consulting helping impactful companies grow (see nilmi_s for more). I also speak multiple languages including fluent French. Looking forward to working together !
